August 9 & 10, 2025
In Southwest Saskatchewan, the wide-open skies and golden fields tell a story of resilience, innovation, and connection to the land. This is where multi-generational ranchers, organic grain farmers, and artisan mead makers share a passion for working with nature and building a sustainable future.
Saskatchewan is known as Canada’s breadbasket, producing over 44% of the country’s field crops and leading the world in exports of lentils, durum wheat, and dry peas. With more than 34,000 farms across the province, agriculture is woven into the fabric of daily life—and nowhere is that more evident than in the southwest.
Here, the land supports a wide variety of agricultural ventures, from cattle ranches and dryland grain farms to honey producers and agri-tourism destinations. It’s a place where tradition and innovation go hand in hand, offering visitors a deeper understanding of prairie life.
Southwest Saskatchewan offers more than just beautiful views—it offers real connections to the land, the people, and the food that sustains us.
