August 8 & 9, 2026
Whether you’re craving fresh market finds, sweeping valley views, or a taste of life on a working farm, the Regina region offers an unforgettable way to experience Saskatchewan’s agriculture. Start your day at the Regina Farmers’ Market, then head out of the city and hit the road—north or south, you’ll find farms ready to welcome you with open arms, full hearts, and plenty of homemade goodness. No matter which route you take, there’s a delicious and down-to-earth adventure waiting just outside the city limits.

Stop #1: Over the Hill Orchards & Winery
(20 minutes North of Regina)
Owners Dean and Sylvia Kreutzer have spent 26 years perfecting the flavours of Prairie Cherries, rhubarb, peaches, apricots, apples and grapes to blend wines that transport you to much warmer climates. With a 90-day growing season, Dean has bred fruit trees and created spaces to innovatively grow fruit that should typically not be grown here.

Located between Regina and Lumsden, this drive from the Saskatchewan prairies to valley views will be a perfect addition to your Open Farm Days weekend.

Stop #2- Seven Meadows Farm
(30 minutes North of Regina)
Not your average greenhouse. Located just outside of Regina Beach, the Hepting family grows incredible tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, and turns them into a range of tasty products from salsas to sauces. The Hepting family name translates from German to English as “Seven Meadows,” giving Seven Meadows Farm its name. With a family history in agriculture, they want to stay connected to a family-oriented agri-business. A hydroponic and high-wire system allows the farm to grow cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers with a much longer growing season than Saskatchewan typically allows.

Come ready to taste the farm-to-table goodness after your greenhouse tour that includes cucumber salsa, sauces, relishes, and pickled products. They have also followed their passion and developed ciders to take home and enjoy with Saskatchewan flavours, including Strawberry Rhubarb and classic apple. We can’t say which is our favourite, so it’s best to buy one of each to try…
What’s Happening?
