Western Development MuseumThe Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan, with four locations across the province located on Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The WDM Saskatoon features an immersive replica of a 1910 Boomtown Street, a Saskatchewan Story of settlement and agriculture through time, transportation innovation, and more! With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives, the WDM serves the people of Saskatchewan through its exhibits, educational and public programs, special events, and research about the history of the province.
WDM 75th Anniversary Passport Contest: Pick up your WDM Passport and get it stamped at every WDM location (Saskatoon, North Battleford, Yorkton, Moose Jaw) before April 2nd, 2025 to receive your own commemorative WDM t-shirt!
Museum Admission: $15 Adult, $13 Senior (65+), $11 Student, $7 Child (ages 6-12), $30 Family (2 adults and dependent children), 5 & under free. WDM Members are also free.

Hands-on Activities
Wheat Grinding- learn how a millstone works and take a turn grinding grain to make flour.
Cow Milking- learning about the origins of dairy products, meet "Bessie" and try your hand at milking.
The Boomtown Cafe offers delicious home-cooked meals from 8:30am-4pm daily. The Museum Gift Shop also carries a selection of candy and snacks.
Museum Manners:
No food, drinks, or gum permitted within the galleries

The WDM Saskatoon has a free parking lot right in front of the building that can be accessed via Lorne Ave.
Note: The Saskatoon Exhibition is taking place the same days, which may cause some traffic congestion.
