The Val Marie Heritage Grain Elevator is a restored 1927 industrial building located just a couple miles from the West Block of Grasslands National Park. After decades of fundraising, structural work, and a big cleanup in 2022, we offer tours to the general public. Learn about the inner workings of Saskatchewan’s vanishing sentinels, their historical role in the Canadian grain trade, and the modern state of agri-business in our sunny corner of the province.

Free experiences:

Our Farmers Market and our elevator tours will be extended to 9-5 on both days, with concession food and a fresh-baked bread fundraiser on site.

Farm Rules:

We are an industrial building that was abandoned for 20 years, so expect some dust and smells. Building is accessible.
