Back Roads Ranch Middle Lake is located at our family homestead, where generations of farming roots meet a fresh new farm experience. This location is home to our greenhouse, seasonal flowers, strawberries, farm retail, She Can Boutique sea can shopping, and the rustic charm of prairie life.

At Middle Lake, guests can slow down, enjoy the beauty of the countryside, and experience the heart of our family farm. This location brings together greenhouse growing, seasonal blooms, local products, berry treats, boutique fashion, and the peaceful feel of the Saskatchewan countryside.

Visitors can also enjoy a unique She Can Boutique experience on the farm, where women’s fashion is displayed in a sea can boutique setting. It is a one-of-a-kind rural shopping experience that blends prairie charm with fresh seasonal style.

Free experiences:

Visitors can enjoy the farm atmosphere, browse designated visitor areas, take photos, and learn about the different ways we grow at Back Roads Ranch. Guests can experience the charm of the homestead location and see how flowers, strawberries, farm retail, and boutique shopping come together in one unique rural setting.

Paid experiences:

Paid experiences may include shopping for greenhouse items, seasonal flowers, farm products, strawberries, boutique clothing, and special on-farm activities, depending on availability during Open Farm Days. Seasonal U-pick or hands-on farm experiences may be available depending on crop timing and weather.

Food:

Guests can enjoy seasonal farm treats including strawberry milkshakes, berry desserts, cold coffees, fresh strawberries, and other farm-inspired items depending on availability. Local products and take-home treats may also be available for purchase.

What to bring:

Please come prepared for a rural farm visit. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Bring water, a camera or phone, and a reusable bag for any purchases from the greenhouse, farm shop, food area, or She Can Boutique.

Where to park:

Parking will be available in designated areas at the Middle Lake homestead location. Guests are asked to follow signage and staff direction when arriving.

Farm Rules:

Guests are welcome to enjoy the farm while respecting the space. Please stay in designated visitor areas, follow posted signs, and do not enter private or production areas unless invited by staff. Children must be supervised at all times. The playground is available for use at your own risk. Pets are not permitted in greenhouse, production, boutique, or food service areas. Please use care around farm equipment, plants, displays, food areas, boutique spaces, and other guests during your visit.
