Saskatchewan may be known as the Breadbasket of Canada, but there’s so much more growing here than just wheat. From golden fields of barley and canola to lush orchards of cherries and apples, and from fragrant hops climbing on vines to bees buzzing through clover to produce liquid gold honey, this province is a patchwork of flavours waiting to be discovered. All of these homegrown ingredients have inspired a thriving craft scene, where farmers, makers, and creators transform what they grow into something truly special: crisp ciders, bold spirits, smooth beers, and award-winning wines that showcase the unique taste of the prairies.
This itinerary is your invitation to explore the incredible connection between the land and your glass to meet the passionate producers behind Saskatchewan’s craft beverages and see how their work brings local flavour to every sip. Whether you’re sampling cider surrounded by apple trees, learning how barley becomes beer, or tasting the delicate balance of fruit and wine straight from the source, we hope you’ll take this opportunity to raise your glass to Saskatchewan, and the people who make it all possible. Cheers!
Please enjoy responsibly and always plan a safe ride home.
