Get ready for a one-of-a-kind tasting and touring experience through the Regina region! This unique Open Farm Days bus tour pairs farm visits with a local food twist—featuring Saskatchewan-grown pizza ingredients and a hands-on Regina Style Pizza Class. Let us guide your day of discovery, local flavours, and connection to the land.
Regina Itinerary (subject to change)
🧺 Stop 1: Regina Farmers’ Market
Begin your day with fresh air, farm-fresh goods, and a quick stroll through one of Saskatchewan’s most beloved markets.
🍷Stop 2: Over the Hill Orchards & Winery
Soak in panoramic valley views while you tour the orchard, sample estate-made wines, and explore how non-hardy fruits like cherries, apricots, and peaches are grown on the prairies.
🍅 Stop 3: Seven Meadows Farm
Nestled near Regina Beach, this family-operated greenhouse uses innovative hydroponics and a high-wire system to grow vibrant cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers year-round. Tour through their sunlit greenhouse and taste the fresh crunch of vine-ripened produce. Learn how the Hepting family—driven by generations of agricultural heritage—combines traditional values with modern techniques to bring pesticide-free, high-quality vegetables straight to local markets.
🍕 Stop 4: Regina Style Pizza Class – Western Pizza South
At Western Pizza South, you’ll roll up your sleeves (and maybe some dough) as our local pizza historians and chefs guide you through crafting your very own perfect 8-inch Regina-style pizza. This hands-on experience is cheesy, a little messy, and exactly how pizza is meant to be. You’ll enjoy a step-by-step pizza-making class led by Regina’s own pizza pros (yes, we’ve found a Regina pizza historian, and yes, they take it very seriously). Once you’ve built your custom pie hot out of the oven and made with love (and probably too much cheese, just the way we like it) you’ll test your wits with some Regina pizza trivia while it bakes, with prizes up for grabs for the sharpest pizza minds (and maybe the messiest hands). Plus, there’ll be plenty of snacks and bites to keep you fueled while you wait for your masterpiece.
🚌 Return to REAL District
Arrive back with a full heart, full bag, and your very own locally-inspired pizza in tow.
