Axten Farms is a fourth-generation family farm rooted in Minton, Saskatchewan, proudly stewarding the same land since 1916. With a deep commitment to regenerative agriculture, we focus on nurturing soil health to produce nutrient-dense grains and flours. Our practices include no-till farming, diverse crop rotations, cover cropping, intercropping, composting, and integrating livestock grazing.

Our on-farm HACCP-certified facility allows us to clean, mill, and package our products, ensuring full traceability from seed to shelf. Certified at Tier 5 by Regenified—the highest level of regenerative verification—we offer a variety of grains and flours, including spelt, red fife, rye, chickpeas, and flax. At Axten Farms, we’re “Loyal to the Soil,” dedicated to cultivating healthy food while revitalizing our land and community.

Free experiences:

Axten Farms is a family farm that is passionate about soil health and producing nutrient dense grains and flours. Using regenerative farming practices, we grow grains on our 10,000 acre farm. We grow, harvest, clean and mill flour right on our farm. Our farm grows a diversity of grains including ancient grains such as Spelt, Red Fife, Khorasan, and Einkorn. Other cereals grown are durum, oats, rye and a seven variety spring wheat blend. We also grow mustard, camelina, peas, beans, kernza, lentils and chickpeas.
