Back Roads Ranch Wakaw is a growing prairie farm experience located just off Highway 41, where Saskatchewan farmland meets fresh local food, family fun, and the excitement of berry production. This location is home to our expanding strawberry fields, cut flowers and sunflower rows, packaged local fresh vegetables from a local vegetable grower and seasonal farm experiences designed to bring people closer to where their food is grown.
Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the prairie while witnessing our family growing something a little different in Saskatchewan — local berries, fresh produce, and creating a welcoming farm destination for families, visitors, and lake communities nearby.
Guests are welcome to visit the Wakaw farm location, walk through designated areas, enjoy the prairie views, take photos, and learn more about our strawberry & raspberry production.
Paid experiences may include seasonal U-pick opportunities, fresh produce, and special on-farm features depending on what is available during Open Farm Days. Guests can shop for local berries, vegetables, and farm products while supplies last.
Fresh local produce, strawberries & raspberries available in season. Visitors are encouraged to check what is fresh and ready during their visit.
Please dress for a day on the farm. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Guests may also want to bring water, a camera or phone for photos, and a reusable bag for any farm purchases.
Parking will be available in designated areas at the Wakaw location. Please follow signage and staff direction when entering and parking on the farm.
For everyone’s safety, guests are asked to stay in designated visitor areas and follow all posted signs. Please do not enter production fields unless invited by staff. Children must be supervised at all times. Pets are not permitted in production areas. Please respect the plants, farm equipment, and other guests while enjoying your visit.
